Phil Tuttobene,
a home theater enthusiast and an electrical
engineer developed a passion for the hobby back in the early
90's.
After
purchasing several products for his home theater he decided
wouldn't it be great to make his hobby a career. Phil
immediately started contacting manufacturers with his ideas
of distributing their products on the Internet . Unlike a
typical Internet wholesaler, TAW would sell at
reasonable prices without devaluating the products. In
addition, TAW would offer second to
none customer service. TAW sold used CRT projectors and
combined them with scalers and other accessories then
offered.
In 2001, it became apparent that the
products available in the industry did not perform at the
level Phil thought they could or should. It was this reason
that Phil created the ROCK processor, a ground breaking
concept in upgradeable, software based processing. The ROCK
has since become one of the most powerful and successful
video processors in home theater.
The mission was and continues to be to
provide the consumer with the finest upgradeable products
the industry has ever seen. Combine that with a 24/7/365
customer service forum to allow consumers to interface with
the owner of the company and show the world our dedication
to customer service.
TAW continues to pioneer industry firsts,
like SDI DVD players, HDSDI in/out for consumer products,
first 3 chip with pt convergence, Colorimetery in 10 IRE
windows for our Revolution and we continue to
push the industry with our innovation. TAW continues to put customer service,
product performance and upgrade ability as its highest
priorities.
You will see many imitators of TAW but no
duplicators. This is because our engineering team is second
to none in innovation, talent and experience - over 170
years to be exact.
