The DigiLink II DVD player offers the best DVD picture from normal DVD discs. The Serial Digital Interface (SDI) has huge advantages over standard analog DVD players. A pure digital output with no D/A conversion equates to less noise, better colors and detail. This DVD player is for those demand nothing but the best Video and Audio. The DigiLink accepts most DVDs from all over the world including NTSC/PAL/SACD/DVD-A and much more.

GENERAL INFORMATION

The DigiLink II is designed as a perfect match for our ROCK series video processors. All our new version 2 and ROCK PRO processors handle SDI input standard.

SDI DVD players have a distinct advantage over DVI DVD players.
DVI is output in progressive, this means they are dependant on the inexpensive and relatively poor performing internal De-Interlacer built into the DVD Player.

TAWs SDI player outputs the signal in 10 bit and in the DVDs native interlaced format.

We then De-Interlace the signal using one of our high quality ROCK processors. This affords a much cleaner artifact free picture.
